"Barricade - (S)", with a 20% drop rate, would be a wooden staircase, leading up to a 4x4-5x5 square wooden platform where the player can fight from up above vs the opponent.

Other flatpacks would include "Barricade - (L)", with a 30% drop rate, which would bring forth a duel arena-like wooden perpendicular obstacle. Assembly would take 1 game tick, allowing it to be constructed mid-fight. To assemble it on the map, click the flatpack, followed by clicking the map. Would disappear in 90 seconds (not short enough to ruin the incentive to get one, not too long to make it overpowered). There would be a "Barricade - (H)" flatpack, with a 35% drop rate which would lay down a small 5 square length horizontal wooden wall that a player could use as an obstacle to frustrate an opponent. These flatpacks would be a recoloured construction flatpack, with new unique uses.

NPC would have a drop table, ranging from 60% chance of a full split bark armour set (helm, body, legs) to unpack, 30% chance of a full infinity robes set, 45% chance at infinity boots, 70% chance for a master wand, 60% chance for a tome of fire, and a new minigame exclusive - "LMS flatpacks". NPC will require a player have killed 1 other player before being able to kill him. In an effort to keep the element of surprise, no in-game alert will notify players of his presence or location. This NPC will appear in the match after 2.5 minutes. Player would have an option to kill this NPC. He appears to be busy at work." This NPC would be dressed in some kind of lumberjack outfit, cutting trees. Some examples include but are not limited to:įorester Albert: Examination text: "Second cousin to McGrubor of Seers. NPCs would be based off of mechanics in the real game, but stick to the theme of their environment and contribute to the competitor's objective of winning. Some games will be as it is currently - No NPCs, same map same items, while other games might be on the same map with NPCs, etc. Introduction of NPCs during the match - To introduce a bit of flair and to expand the strategy aspect of LMS, there should be a rotation of rulesets to the games. If new maps are added, the map players would compete in would be selected at random.

Maybe some maps can have a higher concentration of yew trees or magic trees/maple trees for bigger obstacles, or aesthetics, respectively. Or skipping stones instead of rocks you have to swing a rope to cross. Maybe all of the players in the lobby are in the middle of a great dream, and the fighting area is made up of a few large masses of clouds in space (like in Dream Mentor, or the Killerwatts area). Or maybe it is an alternate realm that the TzHaar use for sparring, and it is all lava. Maybe they are icy landscapes, with an island of normal grassland in the center. Perhaps these new maps can have buildings that are 3 floors instead of 2. I propose that new maps with new obstacles be introduced. Maps - I feel like everybody knows what the map looks like by now, and perhaps one aspect of LMS that can be considered lacking is the map. I would say to bring it next to the coffer, so the player has a good view of the lobby and minigame arena. The view for players at the bank is very limited being next to the rewards shop. Relocate the bank chest more in the center. This will help PvPers find each other and can meet at any agreed at any world they would like rather than just the designated ones. I will also try to start a discord server so that lobbies can be organized with people from around the world 24/7 to meet the new 16 player requirement. In the event that the servers explode with activity, 24 can be the requirement if there are 200+ people in the minigame area (both inside the arena and outside). Needing 8 less players will help reduce the wait times once the game starts becoming popular again, but is still a big enough number to help deter 'point farming' or bots from playing the game just to exploit the rewards system. Population - Lower a competitive game requirement from 24 players to 16.

Below are the changes, feel free to read, share and upvote if you like or agree with my opinions on what the direction of LMS should be. In my opinion, with the BH worlds currently being temporarily removed, this would be a great time to restore the minigame's popularity. As of now, the dedicated F2P worlds who housed most of the competitive games are now dead, with the exception of a few casual games. It has been heartbreaking seeing the constant decline of Last Man Standing as a whole.
